When you have clicked on the "Open" button in your File window it will close and you will be returned to your web page, only this time the file name you just selected will be showing in one of the upload slots ready to be uploaded.
Note: Here you have to upload your Index file first which you have created on your desktop from the second step of Google Adsense steps
You are taken to a new page - this page indicates the success or failure of your file upload.
You have the choice of going back to upload more files, or to your File Manger where you can manage your web site files.
When you are comfortable uploading one file at a time, you can start uploading more than one file at the same time - just fill in more slots in the Upload tool before clicking the Upload Files button.
If you are in your File Manager, there is an Upload button on the right side of the tool bar - see below.
To view your file in your web browser click on the "View" link.
To edit your file - if it is an HTML file - click on the pencil 
icon and this will open the on-line editor you have selected at the top of the File Manager.
