look...

Now that you’re prepared and you know what to expect, you can begin registering with the companies and be on your way to making hundreds, or even thousands, of dollars each and every month.

Companies spend billions on advertising and marketing, and they want to make sure they get it right. Before they do that, they run it by people like you who participate in market research programs. You will be a part of shaping and developing the products and services of the future.

The market research opportunities you will participate in will fall into one of two categories, focus groups and surveys. There will be occasions where there are other types of market research opportunities, but the majority fall into these two groups.

• Focus group
When you participate in a focus group, the market research company hosting the focus group will either host it online or offline. You can choose which ones interest you. The online focus groups usually take place in a chat environment where you will be discussing your thoughts and opinions based on information that the group moderator gives you. The offline focus groups usual take place in the research rooms of the research companies. They are similar to the online focus groups, in that you will be discussing your thoughts and opinions, but you are actually with the people you are discussing your opinions with.

4. Start Signing Up with Research Companies

The amount of money you make will depend upon the number of research companies you sign up with. The more companies you sign up with, the more money you will make. Because of this, it is important to sign up with as many companies as you can as soon as possible. Each of these companies is going to require you to fill out a profile, which will help them determine which surveys they are going to invite you to participate in. Make sure your profile is as detailed and accurate as possible to ensure a good response rate. If you don’t have kids, don’t say that you do. You’ll find yourself in trouble when they invite you to surveys asking about which diaper ointment you prefer.

3. Organize Your Email with Folders

You will want to keep your Email organized. Create separate “folders” in your email account for each of the survey companies you are registered with. This will enable you to organize and file important information that is emailed to you by these companies.

2. Set up an Email Account

Now that you are going to be actively participating in surveys and focus groups, you will be using email a lot. Survey companies will normally email you a registration confirmation when you register at their site. They will also notify you of new surveys or focus groups through email as well. Because of this, you will want to have a separate email account for your survey needs. There are a number of free email services on the web. You can sign up for free email accounts at Yahoo.com or Hotmail.com.
You’re going to want to check this email account multiple times each and every day. Some survey companies send an email out to all of the members who meet the survey criteria, but once the positions are filled, they close the survey. If you want to have the best chances of participating in the survey, read your email often and respond right away.
